The 115 km long 400 kV (quad) D/C Udupi – Kasargode transmission lines will improve the reliability and stability of power supply in northern area of Kerala; and relieving congestion between S1 (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka) and S2 (Tamil Nadu, Kerala) corridor.
