PROJECT STORY
The monsoon in north east India lasts for five months, and rainfall in the region has been recorded as being the highest in the world. The tough, mountainous terrain adds to the complexity of the project. The local populace also is resistant towards the completion of the project which increases the chances of delays.
Our team surveyed the land for the transmission corridor to minimize the challenges caused by rough terrain in the region. We also scoped the work out to ensure productivity was minimally affected during the monsoon months. To overcome the challenge of dealing with the local populace, we collaborated with the authorities in each state to ensure timely project delivery.
Project Detail
A total of 1260 MVA will be made available via this transmission line, which spans 448 kms.
