Sterlite Power’s SPV recognized with 1st International ROSPA GOLD Category Award in Safety

  • The award recognizes the excellent track record in occupational health and safety management systems & high levels of compliance with control measures
  • The Project strengthens the transmission system between Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.

New Delhi, 01st Apr 2019: Sterlite Power’s SPV BDTCL (Bhopal Dhule Transmission Company Limited) has been recognized with Gold Category by ROSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents). The Society focuses on recognizition of the best practices towards prevention of accidents and reducing accidental injuries. The BDTCL project involved establishment of four 765 kV Single Circuit and two 400 kV Double Circuit Transmission lines. The project was awarded with silver shield for ‘early completion of Transmission System’. The project has been awarded on a ‘Build, Own, Operate and Maintain’ (BOOM) basis, wherein the transmission lines would be commissioned and the Company would operate and maintain the same for a minimum tenure of 35 years.
