Tower designs indigenously developed by Sterlite Grid
Sterlite Grid Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL), today announced that it has successfully completed full-scale type testing for its 765 kV double circuit Dharamjaygarh-Jabalpur transmission line (JTCL) project for all the four types of towers.
Sterlite Grid had earlier completed tower testing for its 765 kV single circuit towers for it Bhopal Dhule (BDTCL) Project. All tested tower designs have been indigenously developed by Sterlite Grid which holds copyrights for the said designs.

Sterlite currently has a portfolio of three projects with a total value of about Rs. 40 Billion (~US$ 0.9 Billion).
These transmission systems would evacuate and transmit power through a network of about 2200 km of transmission lines and 2 substations; in the Indian states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Bihar and Assam.
