Ricardo Zangirolami named CEO of Sterlite Power in Brazil

São Paulo, Brazil, December 18th, 2019 – Sterlite Power, the leading global developer of power transmission, today announced Ricardo Zangirolami as its CEO in Brazil effective December 16th.

Zangirolami started his professional career in Legal area, building a solid executive leadership career in Corporate affairs &Legal, also playingimportant roles in M&A,sustainability, corporate social responsibility, communication and compliance, among other areas.

Prior to Sterlite Power, he served as Vice-president and Associate General Counsel,Latin America & Canada, at HP and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Before that, amongst others, Zangirolami also served as Executive Vice-President Legal & Corporate Affairs at CPFL Energy; General Counsel & Corporate Affairs Director, Latin America, at International Paper; General Counsel at ABB Alstom Power, same position also held at Elektro Energy.

Ricardo holds a law degree from the University of São Paulo – USP, with majoring in Corporate and Business Law, postgraduate degrees in Contracts and Business Law from the Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC), and an International Executive MBA from FIA / USP.
