In North-East, our project team conducted several skilling programs for the villagers at Pachin Nagoan village in Tripura. More than 100 villagers were trained on livelihood generation opportunities like pig-farming and mushroom cultivation. The primary objective of these training programmes were to set up the villagers for livelihood generation especially given the challenging times brought on by pandemic.

The project team also provided basic facilities such as fans, washrooms, etc. for the government run primary school in the village – a meaningful impact on the lives of 30 children from the village who attend this school.
